EVENT INFORMATION

Date: October 5th – 7th 2018

Categories: 8&U, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17 and 18 and over (age as of 5th of October 2018)

Below is an approximate time line for the competition this weekend.

COMPETITION:

All events, except Friday elimination race* will be conducted as timed finals. The elimination race* on Friday will be held in the 50 meter pool, the Saturday session in the 25 meter pool and the Sunday morning race in the 50 meter pool.
The elimination race will be run as prelims, semifinals (top 8) and finals (top 4)

TEAM CLASSIFICATION:

• The points in individual events for each age group will be: 20, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
• Only the first 2 relays from each team will score towards the team classification.The points will be: 40, 34, 32, 30, 28, 26, 24, 22, 18, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2
• 2 teams for relay events and 3 swimmers for individual events will score for team points
• The elimination race will not count towards the team and individual trophy, but gets individual medals.

INDIVIDUAL CLASSIFICATION

• The points in individual events for each age group will be: 20, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
• The points will count for a maximum of 12 events
• The elimination swim will count separate, for medals (1, 2 and 3)

AWARDS:

• Wrist bands are available for all the heat winners.
• Medals for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each age group and event.
• Ribbons for place 4th – 8th place for each age group and event
• High point trophy awards for each age group (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) both for men and women.
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd place team trophy, based on the points obtained by the team in individual and relay events.

REGISTRATION:

• Please send us an estimate of the number of swimmers attending by sending this by e-mail to us no later than September 1st 2018.
• The minimum age for entry is 6 years of age (as of the day of competition). All entries must reach by us by September 21, 2018.
• Swim meet participants are capped at 500, so please sign up early to avoid disappointment.
• The entry fees can be paid in U.S. Dollars or Thailand Baht (Payment and Bank information attached), by bank or at the coaches meeting, Friday 5th of October.
• Entries should be submitted by HY-TEK ‘Teammanager’ or Teammanager LITE’. Please download at www.hy-tekltd.com/downloads.html
• Entry fee is THB 1500 or USD 50
• Entries received after September 21st will be subject to a 500THB late fee per swimmer.
• Entries received after September 28th will be rejected

QUALIFYING TIMES AND SCHEDULE

Friday PM session – Start 17.00 – open water sprint (Elimination rounds), 50 meter pool

Saturday AM session – Start 8.00 AM, 25 meter pool

Saturday PM session – Start 13.00

Sunday AM session – Start 8.00, 50 meter pool
